How to Read Clustered Harsh Stars in Zi Wei
Yang, Tuo, Huo, Ling, Kong, and Jie are the six harsh stars people circle. They speed, sharpen, and break the usual path. They are not a disaster stamp. Clustering depends on same palace versus related palaces, and whether the major can hold.

When you see them, count the palace, same-palace or aspect, then brightness of the major and whether supports and transformations hold the tone. No harsh star often means too little edge. The old drowning verse is extreme literature, not a medical note.
Put the word 'evil' down
Qing Yang, Tuo Luo, Huo Xing, Ling Xing, plus Di Kong and Di Jie, are the six most circled stars. Yang and Tuo are metal-sharp and grinding. Huo and Ling are burst and urgency. Kong and Jie miss the ordinary landing.
The line 'no harsh star, no real cleverness' means no resistance and also no push. Harsh is not a moral stain. It is speed, friction, homework you carry yourself.
Some popular articles fill the page with 'Ling–Chang–Tuo–Wu, the limit drowns you.' Four of those together in one palace is heavy. The theme is money, a stuck mind, a single track—not a forecast of water.
Six tones, not six curses
Qing Yang is an open blade: fast, blunt, easy to offend, also able to cut a deadlock. Tuo Luo is a millstone: sticky, looping, good for craft and long polish, bad for haste.
Huo Xing flares outward; Ling Xing tightens inside, then bursts. Both are fire. In Wealth they often read as side money, in quick and out quick. In Life Palace, a short fuse and strong execution; calm is trained elsewhere.
Kong and Jie are a broken bridge: plans miss reality, money and chance do not stack along the path. In Fortune or Wealth, budget and contracts matter more than a poverty stamp.
Cluster: same palace first, related palaces next
One harsh star in a quiet palace often only means that theme is tiring. Two or more in the same palace is the start of a cluster: the tone speeds or sharpens, and the major must be strong enough to hold it.
Yang, Tuo, Huo, Ling meeting through the related-palace group is a step weaker than same-palace, but still loads Career, Wealth, and Travel together. Ask which set of rooms: Life/Body, Career/Wealth, or Marriage/Fortune.
Earth majors (Zi Wei, Tian Fu, Tian Liang) are less allergic to fire and void; earth can drain fire. Wu Qu and Qi Sha share metal with Yang and Tuo, and fear fire controlling metal. Tian Tong, Tai Yin, Tian Ji feel harsh stars more. That is elemental temper, not who is more doomed.
The palace names the scene
Harsh in Life: brisk or tight, high self-demand. In Career: fast job change, hard competition, a poor fit for a lying-flat post. In Wealth: willing to push, needs risk control; only with a broken Property palace does 'cannot keep' get louder.
In Marriage: blunt talk, rushed pace, or one issue that keeps grinding. In Health: watch schedule and accident risk, still not a disease name.
Zuo Fu, You Bi, Kui Yue, Lu or Ke holding the palace can turn harsh into 'money in the noise' or results under pressure. No support plus Ji is when you cut projects, write lists, and read contracts three times.
When a cycle lights them
Natal harsh stars are base tone. A major or annual cycle that brings Yang Tuo Huo Ling onto Life, Wealth, or Career makes events louder: a job change, money in and money out, argument, a rush job.
What you do in the window is ordinary: fewer contracts you do not understand, less stacked leverage, sleep and screening on time. Rhymes do not replace those three.
After charting, write a user manual for that palace: where to go fast, where to grind, where not to gamble. Closer to life than 'cluster equals doom'.

- Replacing contracts, budgets, and sleep with lucky objects.

Two or more of Yang Tuo Huo Ling Kong Jie in one palace, or the related group meeting them. Same palace is heavier. One quiet-palace star is usually just a tiring theme.
